What devices will Botzam Backup work with?

Botzam Backup will work with PalmOS devices that have SD expansion slots, Memory Stick expansion slots, or CF expansion slots.  Botzam Backup works with devices that support VFS.

The scheduled backups will not execute.  Why not?

Scheduled backups will only work when Botzam Backup is installed in RAM.  If the application is only installed on the memory card, then scheduled backups will not run.

What type of encryption is used?

The type of encryption that is used is dependent on which encryption plug in you have installed.  The plugin that comes in the package you purchased uses XTEA 32 rounds ECB Mode at 56 bits.  Other encryption algorithms can be implemented according to our public plugin architecture.

How can I get technical support?

Send email to support@botzam.com. Please include your error log.  In order to get your error log, select “View Log” from the Options menu.  Then select the export button and then perform a HotSync operation with your device.  Your log will be in the memo pad application in your Palm Desktop application.
