Version of Botzam Macro Wins 2nd Prize in Sony Clie/Aibo Contest
December 4, 2002 Woburn MA – Botzam, Inc, a maker of utility software for mobile devices today announced that a version of Botzam Macro received 2nd place in the Sony Clie/Aibo contest put on by ClieSource. The contest was to write the best software for the Sony Clie that controlled the Sony Aibo Robot.
“We entered the contest to demonstrate the versatility and flexibility of our software.” said Lorraine Wheeler, CEO of Botzam, Inc.”Our versatile software makes the handheld devices more secure and allows the user to optimize their time. This contest demonstrated that it can also make the handheld fun.”
Botzam Macro was used to record sequences of tones that were played in Botzam MIDIplay. These tone combinations caused the robot to perform different tasks (sit, lie, etc). Although special versions of the software were created specifically for the contest, all the functionality can be done with the released versions of the software.
Botzam Macro is the popular macro recorder software released earlier this year. Botzam MIDIplay is a freeware MIDI player available from www.botzam.com
